Who We Are
Our Story
Createschool was founded by Peter Baxter and has been successfully delivering workshops now for almost 20 years, encouraging students to collaborate, unleash their creative sides and discover hidden talents. From the early beginnings with Songschool, the Createschool team has grown and our varied passions and interests have led us to expand our workshop portfolio into a much broader range of creative and multimedia offerings, including stop motion animation, podcasting and moviemaking. Thereby offering a wide selection of workshops to choose from which can be tailored to individual school and venue needs.
Our Why
Quite simply, these courses and workshops exist because they didn’t before. They are the workshops that we wish were available when we were at school. The courses we needed when we were starting out on our journey as professional creatives.
They are based on things that people regularly tell us that they wish they could do and think that they can’t. But they can. We show them how.
Meet The Team
Peter recently completed a Post Grad at Trinity College in Creative & Cultural Studies and loves being a professional creative.
He has produced the award-winning iWalk podcasts, written, performed and released three albums of original music and is threatening to make another one soon.
Justin Cullen has over 25 years of experience in Songwriting and Music Technology and has been working with Createschool for 15 years delivering workshops in a variety of digital media skills in schools across Ireland.
He has released 4 albums to date, three with his current band Frankenstein Bolts of which he is the singer and the songwriter.
He has national diplomas in Performance and Songwriting from Ballyfermot Rock School and studied as a recording engineer in Poppy Hill Recording Studios.
Dave has been delivering multimedia workshops in creativity for over 12 years. He has more than 25 years experience in songwriting and has diplomas in Music Technology and Performance and is a trained Sound Engineer.
Dave has also Created, Produced and Directed and composed all music for online TV shows for kids which involve green puppets with lots of musical talent.
